Cirrus Logic Cs4206a Driver Windows 7
I am running the retail version of Windows 7 x64 and I am quite disappointed with the sound quality coming from the computer speakers (recently purchased 15.4' unibody MacBook Pro). The sound chipset is Cirrus Logic CS4206A (AB75) and the driver version (which is WHQL compliant) is 6.6001.1.8 (). The issues are: 1.) the sound that comes out of the speakers is not very strong at all (low volume) and it is also not very high quality. 2.) the headset port emits a red flash whenever sound is played back by the system (it will shut off after a period of no sound being played. Including system sounds). Can I find a newer and more compatible driver? Are you running Apple Boot Camp?
