Install Safestrap Galaxy S4 Mk2
Can I Unlock Bootloader (AT& T MK2 4. We are making swell progress though, but if anything is found it'll most likely be a very complex exploit rather than a full on.
Battle Report Converter Ogame. I just got the recent update for my Verizon Galaxy S4 and I'm having the random reboot issue everyone is complaining about. So now I'm willing to dive into custom ROMs since the official version is failing me.
I have never worked with custom ROMs before, so I'm looking to get informed about it. Are there any good places to get started? I understand Verizon versions of the S4 have particular restrictions when it comes to what ROMs you can install, but I'm kinda fuzzy on it. What exactly are those restrictions? What roms am I limited to?
I've also seen some say that you simply can't get a custom ROM if you have the most recent os update of the Verizon Galaxy S4. Is that true? Thanks in advance!
Keep reading! It's a lot to take in but once you understand the basics it's very easy. When they say 3 letters like mdk mk2 nc5 ng6 etc, those are versions of the Verizon rom-basically the operating system you're starting. Ng6 was the update that just came out, nc5 before. If you go to settings ->more ->about phone you will see a line that says 'baseband version'.
This always starts with i545 (Verizon s4 model number) and the last 3 letters/numbers is what people refer to when they say ng6 or mdk etc Basically your best bet is to Odin back to nc5 using this: Root with towelroot, install safestrap 3.75, then install compatible Roms. Off the top of my head Roms that work are hyperdrive (using this right now) eclipse, echoe. Anything that says safestrap compatible in the android development section.
