Gamers step into the shoes of Jackie Estacado, the head of a New York crime family and wielder of an ancient and ruthless force of chaos and destruction known as The Darkness. The goal is to devour every pie out there while using your time-bending abilities in unique ways to overcome the 75 unique challenges. Spec Ops: The Line Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person modern military shooter that challenges your morality by putting you in the middle of unspeakable situations where unimaginable choices affecting human life must be made. The focus here is on squad-based tactics as you have to work as a team to overcome challenging foes. The Spec Ops series is known for its tactical gameplay and Spec Ops: The Line pushes that even further.

The most unique aspect of the game is that it features dynamic sandstorms which affect level design. The player controls Captain Martin Walker who is accompanied by a Delta Force bravo team to rescue an Army Colonel who remained behind in Dubai. To accomplish this goal, players must traverse the city to neutralize enemy threats and natural disasters to find and recover Colonel Konrad.
